Whatsapp allows storage space monitoring for each chat, contact
There is one thing a app need to always to keep up with i.e. adding newer and newer features to keep it exciting for end users. Every app there in the market you can analyze would show this in their history.
Even the big players can fall to the ground if they do not have this which also makes them better proposition then competitors. Whatsapp may be having more than billion active users every month, it always makes it better and better user experience which may come through new feature or enhancement in existing features.
There are couple of features the app has come out with in recent times and one of them is allowing users to access and monitor storage space per contact or chat. They can simply go to their devices and storage setting and click on each contact which will in further navigation will show amount of space all files and documents related with that contact and space they are occupying. Users can manually select files and delete them. However this feature is not available to everyone and one has to have beta version to enjoy this.
There are other new features in Whatsapp that the team has brought in including larger size file transfer. Now instead of 16MB, iOS users can transfer 100MB and Android users can transfer 128MB files. It will bring relief to many users who want to share games, movies and songs of latest formats. Also it is claimed there is no format restriction and hence you can be carefree about what type of file you are going to share with friends on Whatsapp.
Previously Whatsapp users in India could book ticket on BookMyShow but they were sent tickets on their mails. Now it has enhanced the scope of collaboration which will allow users to get M-ticket on Whatsapp itself. There is no need to go to your mail account and get the confirmation code for confirmed ticket bookings. In future we can expect more convenient ways ot using Whatsapp and also features from other apps which are having collaboration.
