It seems like with unlocking of lock down in India, new smartphone and also smartwatches are being rolled out slowly. We reported on Gionee Senorita smartwatch and now there is one more smartwatch model i.e. Samsung Galaxy Watch 3.
Expected to be launched in coming days probably in July 2020 itself, Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 price in India is expected to be around Rs. 21,999. There are confirmed leaks on Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 in images which has given quite good overview of this new model for Indian market (compare with Galaxy latest model Watch 4 Golf Editon).
There are three main features of Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 which has been leaked and they are rotating bezel, two models in 41mm and 45mm size and last is updated version of Tizen OS.
Presence of different display of calendar and Galaxy app are in different display format in the new Samsung Galaxy Smartwatch 3 which shows the presence of better OS here. The apps are shown in circular format which will remind users of traditional watches where time numbers are shown in similar circular fashion.
It has been also reported Samsung Galaxy new Watch 3 will carry 1GB RAM and 8GB of hard drive. On the ruggedness side, it will have MIL-STD-810G and for water and dust resistance, IP68 rating is there which is quite common also. On the connectivity front, the model may have the option for VoLTE support. Apart from this health activity support, heart rate monitor, messages alerts, alerts from social media etc. will also be there.
Samsung has been relatively slow with Samsung Galaxy Watch series as Watch 3 model is just 3rd model though the first Samsung Galaxy Watch launched in August 2018.
